Threading Capabilities

I am doing a comparison between vBulletin and phpBB.

In phpBB, you post a question to a forum and everyone can reply to it. There is no capability to build a dsicussion thread off of one of the replies (similar to what you do in NNTP based news groups).

Does vBulletin support this concept.

Not right now, but when vB 3.0 is released each user will have the option to view posts in a threaded or linear view.

As for your next question - no, I don't know when 3.0 will be released. My guess is that we'll see some sort of beta program in June or July.
