Just signed up because I'm planning to buy a vBulletin soon. I need to know a few things first though.

1. After you submitted the order, how long would it take before I can use a board?

2. I am currently running Ikonboard 3.0.1 with some small changes to the code but most are just changes of how the board looks. It is using a DBM database currently.
a. When will there be an IB3->vB convertor?
b. Is it possible with a DBM database or do I need to switch it to the MySQL version first?
c. Does it matter if you hacked the board (a little)?

Thanks in advance. At first I thought Ikonboard was better (it is very good) but after another forum I visit switched to vB and after some testing in the admin cp I changed my mind. And there are many hacks for it too.

1. Minutes. I believe now the customer code is emailed to you almost instnatly.
2a. It's close to being done.
2b.You will need to switch to mysql ib3 before you will be able to use it.
3b. As long as the database is not altered it shoudn't make a difference.

yep... vBulletin is most definately the best forum system out there. Especially better than the free boards
