    apache 2.0.35 for win32

    hello,

i am about to do an install of vbulletin on win32 apache.

since the newest version (2.0.35) apparently works much better in win32, i thought i'd go with that instead of the 1.3.x branch.

has anyone used vbulletin with apache 2.0.35/php 4.2.0/mysql 3.23.49?

IIRC, Apache 2 is still in alpha or beta, so until it goes gold you'll probably still want to use 1.3.24 or the latest version.

actually it is the full production version.

it went out of testing/beta about 2 weeks ago.

has anyone on the vbulletin team tried it out?

We tend to test on the most common installations available while developing or bug fixing. There are simply to many combinations of OS/Apache (or IIS)/PHP/MySQL to test them all.

However as we enter the vBulletin 3.0 beta test period we should be getting feedback from people on a wide range of systems and configurations which will allow us to finetune any obscurities that show up because of weird or new configurations.
