    vBulletin Script is SCALABLE ?

I run website with 14k CCU and peak arround 50k CCU
i want convert into vBulletin 5x or 3x, my website now is READ ONLY, and after convert into vBulletin, will become READ and WRITE ( discussion )

    before that, i have a question :

Does vBulletin support multiple scalable server ?
i try to download nulled vbulletin for testing purpose
i just check all THREAD dabatase is in single database
just affraid if got failure server and then all die ...

is possible to have multiple server for each forum category ?
why i ask this case because i want to distribute each traffic to each server

example : CATEGORY CAR is most high traffic so i will put on big server A
CATEGORY HOME, BIKE, ETC is small traffic only, so i will put on small server B
CATEGORY AAA,BBB,CCC in small server C

when server A got failure i can turn off for maintenance anytime without other server ( other category ) got affected

is it possible by default ?
    or need custom coding ?

    sorry my english is bad

You cannot break the database up over multiple servers. However your example isn't an example of scalability. It is a development nightmare.

You can use a MySQL Cluster with master and slave servers to handle scalability of vBulletin. You would be able to switch off the Master and designate one of the slaves as the new master for maintenance and continue working. Bring the previous master back online as a slave and it will replicate the data it missed.
