Adding a bit torrent tracker to vBulliten

I've seen sites that use vBulliten and are bit torrent trackers. I'm thinking about adding a vBulliten to the website of a band I manage, and use it for bit torrent tracking as well. Is this something that comes with vBulliten "out of the box", or does it require a separate module at a separate cost? The sites I've seen had very detailed information on the torrent being served, and also had integrated "seed points" that you could exchange to increase your share ratio.

Nothing in the default product would do what you're asking for there. It will most likely be a third party add-on, which will either be generally available as an add-on from the author, or it may have been custom coded by someone.

It may be worth having a look on www.vbulletin.org which is our site for third party modifications. I've had a quick look though and there doesn't seem to be anything.

There are custom coders around - Glenn Vergara for example at https://vbmods.rocks does paid custom work for vBulletin 5.
I think whatever forum platform you choose, this is going to need custom work.
