vBulletin 2.2.5

I have a customer with a very large community (a post per minute) that wants to use vBulletin.
We need to translate vBulletin to Hebrew for this community.
So, we heard 2.2.5 is going to be released soon and we thought better waiting a little to have the latest version before vB3 (I hope).

Can you tell me please when do you think 2.2.5 will be released? (couple of days? more then a week? 2 weeks?)

There's really been no official release date for version 2.2.5, but you can read this thread for more information. I would just purchase vBulletin now and download version 2.2.5 when it comes out... But it's up to you, of course.

License is not a problem.
I would just like to know when it will be out because I want to translate 2.2.5 and not 2.2.4

between now and vB 3's release

i wouldn't be surprised if 2.2.5 didn't come out for at least a few weeks. i imagine their goal is to have a secure and bug free release of vB 2... so they will prolly want to sit on 2.2.5 for a while to make sure there are no more bugs or security issues.

i'm just guessing here...

I use vBulletin 2.2.4 and I have translated the templates in greek. When vB3 comes out, I'd like to do the uprage but: Will I be able to keep these templates in order not to loose the translated files?

Yes you will be able to keep your customized templates, we won't overwrite them. If there are any template changes then we will list them so you know which ones to look at.
