Paid subscriptions

Hello,
Is there a paid subscription option in Vbulletin 5, were you can charge for access to forums and sub forums? If so, what are the features of this option?

Yes.

You can set (via usergroup permissions) the additional privileges that come with buying a subscription, mainly that would be what forums (channels in VB5 speak) that can access, but it can also be the kinds of content they can access, blogs, social groups, events, etc..., and also what modules they see which could mean less or fewer advertisements for example. Really any option that can be controlled by usergroup permission can be put in a paid subscription.

As for the subscriptions themselves they can be in multiple currencies, over multiple terms (days / weeks / months / yearly for example) and in terms of PayPal whether they automatically renew, which PayPal allows for subscriptions of up to a year to auto-renew last I checked.
