Moving vB 5.x from hostgator to godaddy

I am moving my forums from hostgator to godaddy - and changing domain names.

After following the instructions here - https://www.vbulletin.com/docs/html/main/moving_servers - I'm not having success, and don't know what I'm not doing correctly. The page gives me a 500 error and no indication about what is not working.


Is it possible to install the forums fresh and upload the existing .sql file via myphpadmin?

sorry to post in this forum, seems I'm not able to start a topic in other forums - likely because my account is brand new.

A 500 Server error is usually due to server configuration. It can be a PHP error or some other issue. Your hosting provider can provide you with the results of the error.
