  • vBulletin API / PWA / AMP - Modern Web / React

    Hi

I am considering some forum solutions and have used vBulletin in the past. I like the tool a lot and want to consider it for selection.

Is there any AMP support on vBulletin?

    Does vBulletin support PWA?

Is there an API for mobile / headless approach for Front End - like using React, vue and authentication

Has anyone done a microservice stack using vB as a database for forums, users, categories and CMS and then the front end renders in React + Gatsby that type of model?

    Thank you

VB5 does have an API that can be used, I'm afraid none of those other acronyms are familiar. AMP, PWA - never seen them used in relation to vBulletin, nor React, vue or Gastby.

For info on the VB5 API check here- http://vb5support.com/resources/api

Check out a blog from one of our developers on basic use of the API for logging into a VB site- http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/blogs...n-your-website

      Making some assumptions here.

AMP (Accelerated Mobile Pages) - We do not currently have support for this. Nor do I know of any immediate plans to support it at this time.
PWA (Progressive Web Apps) - Again we do not currently have support for this. Nor do I know of any immediate plants to support it at this time.

The software does not have direct support for REACT, Vue or Gatsby. However, it doesn't need them. These are all Javascript development libraries. All browsers support Javascript.

Joe gave a link to the Full API. Our Mobile API documentation is located at http://vb5support.com/resources/mapi
