  • Payment Review?

    I made a purchase with my debit card yesterday(Saturday) and have been in Payment Review for the past day. Had I known I was going to be in some sort of review stage for making a purchase over the weekend, I probably would have re-thought making my initial purchase seeing as I already have a Xenforo license.

    Is there anyone online who can rectify this situation?

    Orders in payment review status are picked up during US business hours by the sales team, today (Monday) is a holiday in the US, so this will get picked up on Tuesday. Apologies for any inconvenience.

      Why is there a payment review for a debit card purchase? I purchased this over the long weekend hoping to have time to work on starting a site, but now the weekend is over and I'm not going to be able to work on this site until the end of the quarter most likely.

        All purchases go through a Payment Review to make sure it is not fraudulent. This is to protect you, the cardholder, as well as us. It will be approved as soon as possible. It's just unfortunate that the purchase was made at the start of a three day holiday when there is nobody to approve it.

        Probably worth emailing sales@vbulletin.com to ensure it gets picked up as a priority on Tuesday morning.

          Could it be noted that this should be disclosed during the ordering process? Also, I used to work for the company Verifi who handles charge backs, the process is not that hard to deal with, I'd rather have a faster purchase.

            Yes it really should be, this is obviously an issue for enough users that when I had to search as I was unaware of this I found tons of posts from people. A lot of people like to work on something during their down time over the weekend or a long weekend when it comes to a community. I happily purchased Friday night expecting to spend my free time this weekend getting my community together. Instead I'm stuck waiting with no warning that you guys need to manually approve the order. What a joke and no warning ahead of time.
