Q2/ is it safe to hire a freelance developer to add this feature to my forum? (does it include changing the main codes of the forum) ?

Hello

1. Extremely unlikely it will be added at all to be honest. I'm not aware of any feature requests for it, it isn't something I can ever recall being requested.

2. Yes you can hire a developer, but it's important to remember that if you change the core php files then the changes will need to be reapplied with every incremental upgrade, so make sure your developer documents the changes required.

It is not easy to add LinkedIn as a quick signup
I tried to find vB developers for this or Google+, Twitter but it costs much.
I think Facebook is enough to have new members from this popular social network.
