After all this time, I only see 72 modifications on .org for this product. Should I stick with vb4 or is the upgrade worth it.

If you are on vB4, and it is working well for you, and you have modifications that you consider essential to your community - then you should stay there.
Same applies to people on vB3.
Ask yourself what you want to achieve by upgrading - if you can tell us that, we can offer some guidance.
If the answer is 'to be on the latest newest version' then that's not a good reason - for that, you should upgrade to the latest version of your current branch (which for vB4 is 4.2.3 / 4.2.4).MARK.B

There are far more modifications for vB4 than for vB5, vB5's different architecture has limited the supply of modifications somewhat.MARK.B

I would suggest you to wait a year or two before switch to VB5. Especially if you using different mods from vb.orgComment

Well here we are 2 yrs later, the .org website is now up to only 86 mods available compared to around 2k mods for vB4.
Now, there will be no more security fixes for vB4.
would like some input on what you guys have done?
