and can vbulletin app integrate with whatsapp? Can users of vbulletin forum use whatsapp to send and receive messages if not whole forum messages, at least direct messages?

There is no integration with Whatsapp, I'm sorry.

You can try it in that you can search the app store for the vBulletin Community Forum app and download it. It is the app for this site, you can see how it works. Yours would work the same, with the same limitations, but you would choose your own colors and provide your own logo images.
