Any EOL date for vBulletin 4?

I am wondering if there is a already known or "likely to come soon" end-of-life announcement for vBulletin 4. We are currently on that platform and are considering upgrading to 5 but would like to know if there should be any urgency to this.

The only development that is being done on vBulletin 4 is for PHP compatibility and security issues. Effectively, it is considered end-of-life as we're not actively updating issues or investigating bugs in the software.

We still provide security and PHP updates for VB 3.x, so a true "end of life" may be a long time away- there's no set in stone date.

3.8.10 & 4.2.4 should be out of Beta before the end of 2016, they are php 5 updates, and a few minor bug fixes.

3.8.11 & 4.2.5 Alphas will be out this week, they are mainly for php 7 updates, although there are a few minor bug fixes in them as well.

Important Security updates are still being provided for vB3 & vB4, there are no plans to change that atm, as many people still use them.
