Hi there,

What is the best avenue to purchase access to download vBulletin 3.8.9? I'm currently running on vBulletin 3.8.7, and would like to upgrade to inherit PHP 5.6 support.

You can upgrade to vBulletin 5 Connect for $209, which will give you access to all stable versions of vB 3, 4, and 5.
There is also a special upgrade price of $149, if you'd just like to upgrade to vBulletin 4, which will give you access to all stable versions of vB 3 and 4.

You can access these options by logging in at members.vbulletin.com. The vB 4 upgrade option is under the License Details & Options section.

Does upgrading to vBulletin 4 also provide upgraded access to the vBulletin 3 add-ons (Blog, Mobile API, etc.) under my vB3 license?

The vB3 Blog is no longer offered for sale. You will be able to use the Blogs and Articles system if you upgrade to VB4 however.

The Mobile API is only made available with the purchase of the vBulletin Mobile Suite.
