How do I use the Admin Demo???

I tried to post this thread in the "How Do I?" section, but it wouldn't let me, even when I tried to "log in" to that forum, which just makes NO SENSE AT ALL.

Anyway, how do I use the Admin Demo Forum? I registered, but it says I'm a "Junior Member" and I don't have access to the control panel. I can't delete threads, make forums or anything.

What the hell is the point of an Admin Demo if I can't be the Admin?

    PLEASE HELP!

      Thanks!!!

But I was wondering how to change the colors of my board (on the Admin Demo).

Where would I go in my Control Panel to do that?

If you bought vB, you have to enter your username on this form to post in the other forums: http://vbulletin.com/members/forums.php

He's talking about the administration demo on this site that lets people test drive all the featues of vBulletin.

              uhm, confused

vBulletin.com has a try out version - online - of the Administrators Control Panel "The Admin Demo". This is just to browse around, this will not change the stuff on your own website, nor on vbulletin.com/forum/.

vBulletin.com/forum/ runs a real version for their own support community, if you are registered there, you can not become admin. It has nothing to do with the admin demo.

Your own web site Admin Control Panel, can be found in a subdir ..

where you have to login with an admin account.

There you can change the style of your site. (below > styles > modify > fonts/etc

Did you purchase vBulletin yet? If so, you can goto the vbulletin.com members area and click on the link where they advice you to enter your registered forum username (from vbulletin.com/forum to get premium lifetime support). Then you can post and read all the support boards on vbulletin.com/forum.

Hope its a bit more clear now.

Thanks, guys, for all the help.

I bought my vb, but I haven't had it installed yet, so I'm practicing on the Admin Demo.

                So far, I'm loving it!

It has even more cool features than I expected!

But I'm new at this, so I'm sure I'll have many more questions in the near future.

                Well, thanks again.

I couldn't wait with installation after I downloaded it.
Took me 15 to 30 minutes to get online! From going to digibuy till loading my frontpage
