Some development, primarily bug fixing, security issues, and compatibility issues are being fixed. However new features/functionality are not, and the vast majority of bugs are unlikely to be resolved.Comment

Disagree. vB4.2.2 is a very good platform, far ahead (features) of vB5 or XFenvironment: Centos 6.9, Apache v2.4.25, PHP 5.6.30/xCache, MariaDB 10.22 -- vB5 Connect Licensed

The Facebook API should be updated in 4.x by the time 4.2.3 is officially released. Facebook will still work with existing 4.x sites, but no newly created Facebook Apps will work. Old apps will continue to work until sometime in April I believe.Comment
