Hi,

I have an expired vB3 license back from 2009. I'm wondering whether vB3 was still actively maintained as far as security updates go. I understand that vB4 (and apparently now vB5!) are the focus of new features and stuff - that's fine. I'd just like to know if vB3 still gets security updates when needed.

If so I'll be looking to renew my account.

3.8.7 is still being maintained for security issues a this time. No other versions are.

Unlike the old Ver 3, the newer Ver 4 never expires. Consider the average monthly cost over the estimated lifetime of Ver 4, and it may average $3 per month including unlimited forum support.
