Will there be different purchase options available for VB5? Such as Regular, Publishing Suite.. so on.

    Looking to purchase soon.

First of all, thank you for allowing this thread, I appreciate the fast and timely answer..

So the way I am seeing it is, VB5 Connect is going to be an all inclusive software with classes separating the content, and you will also have access to all of the previous versions as well.

        Thanks again.

When buying vBulletin 5 Connect - actually being in beta stage - you can access all earlier version like 4.x, 3.x and so on. As soon as CMS is finished it will also be part of vB5 without extra fees.
No private support, only PM me when I ask for it. Support in the forums only.

You will have a 30 day free ticket/phone support when buying vBulletin 5, forum support for all the time. If you want ticket/phone support after the first 30 days it will cost $49 for one month phone and ticket support, $199 a year for annual phone and ticket support.

                      Branding free is an option
                      Mobile Suite is an option
                      ForumRunner is an option
Professional installs / upgrades are an option

These are the only additional options right now, aside from support. Their costs are listed on the purchase page.
This may change at some point in the future, and this post is only accurate at the time of its writing.

Is there no different in upgrade pricing between vb4 forum only and vb4 suite when upgrading to vb5?
If there is no different, then I got to admit that I am kinda dismayed.

There is no different price. It is $209 for all upgrades.

I was thinking about buying the 4.2 CMS software to add to our 4.2 Forum software. Is there not any way to do that now?

You'd need to upgrade to a vB5 license.
