vB4 Forum only license to vB5 CMS license

    Dear,

Previously vBulletin had two different set of products. One was forum package and the other one was CMS package.

I had intended to upgrade my vB4 Forum only version to vBulletin 5 CMS version. But I didn't see any such option there. All it said is vB5 upgrade.

Can someone guide me with that?

There is only one vBulletin 5 package, if you purchase it, you will get the CMS when it is returned to the vBulletin 5 connect software.

Will the vB4 Suite be available with that license?

vB5 is unequivocally the best forum software, but not yet...

It appears that Internet Brands has changed the license terms so that no transfers (no resales) are permitted with VB 5. If you upgrade to VB 5 it's yours forever.

Attention if update before you transfer the property, the license will remain as it is now headed.

I would not be wrong, but ask at [email protected] before you act.

            regards

Do I have to buy VB5 to get VB4?
              by BasilFawlty
I run a fairly large site with VB 4.2.1 and am quit happy with it. No offense but I personally do not like VB5 - not even a little bit. That said, I have been thinking about starting a second forum...

My whole reason for getting vb5 was the CMS that I thought I'd be getting with it and there's been neither hide nor hair to be seen so far. Is there some kind of time table or estimate or something for...
