You should be able to upgrade, I know we had a bug in our logic that was preventing it. I'm not sure if its been resolved yet.

Yes, this is why I have posted this thread. That should be fixed asap.

We're working on resolving it. I think something else took priority today. We're very sorry for the delay.

You should be able to contact sales directly via our sales number to get help in the mean time:

You can call 877-326-6444 during our normal business hours (0900 to 1700 Monday though Friday GMT-8)

            No,you cannot.
            1. After Purchasing, download vB5 from the your Member's Area.
            2. Unzip the package
            3. Create a new directory to hold vBulletin 5. It should not contain any vBulletin 3 or 4 files.

vB5 is unequivocally the best forum software, but not yet...

beishe8, customers can purchase vBulletin 5 upgrades on their vbulletin 3 licenses, there is a bug causing a problem.

Customers can upgrade directly from 3.8 to 5.0. The fact that old vBulletin files shouldn't be in the same directory is not the same as the question he is asking.
Please be more careful when responding to threads in the future.

Sorry for it Zach, I read it differently.

                Can I upgrade my 3.8 licence to 5 > I want to have a vB 5 licence
Can I go thru upgrade > Can I upgrade my software on the server from 3.8 to 5

                  Hi Guys,

Any news on an ETA for the fix for this? My old licences, despite the fact they do appear in the members page (3.x), are still unable to be upgraded due to "none of my licences being valid", and after raising this last night i still have not had a reply or even an acknowledgement (this was using the webform on the site)...

                  Paul

You can open a support ticket too if a phone call isn't possible for you.
