If you upgrade any VB4 license (or even VB3 for that matter) with the branding free option, you will still have branding free for VB5.

Note- the important word here is "Upgrade." If you purchase a new license you need to purchase a new branding free license as well, the branding free is married to the original license it was purchased for. (Licences can be upgraded.)
