    Wasn't vB5 included with vB4?

I might be totally mistaken here, but I think I remember that when I bought vB4 I read that I had free updates for life, even to vB5.

Do I remember incorrectly? If not, is this happening?

    Thanks!

You have free updates to the vB4 software, not the vB5 software.

Please don't PM or VM me for support - I only help out in the threads.

Just to be super clear the question is answered here:

You don't have to pay an annual license update fee to have access to security, maintenance and minor point updates. The new vBulletin 4.0 Software License Agreement now includes these services for the life of the 4.0 software products (security and maintenance releases are made available according the support schedule).
