When it is released. No information on release date (other than 'this year') or pricing has been announced.

            Thanks Ace.

The reason I asked was because I want to start a new forum. I have a VB3 licence, and I'd prefer not to have to pay for two upgrades in the next few months.

So do a lot of people. Asking for a release date prior to it happening is HIGHLY unlikely to result in getting a release date, anywhere, in any situation.

I would suggest subscribing to the Announcements forum here, if you want to be made aware of the earliest opportunity to order vB5.

Not sure what you mean by that. Lots of companies publicise release dates well in advance.

I think the point being made is, the company have not yet announced a date. They are not likely to do s in response to a question in a thread, it will be announced via the normal announcement channels.
