Thinking About Upgrading To CMS But Have A Question

I've recently purchased vBulletin to switch our forum over from phpbb. I'm torn between using Wordpress for our homepage vs. the vBulletin CMS. I really like the idea of being able to promote member's threads from the forum to articles etc...

My main question about the CMS is if Google values new articles published to Google News like they do with Wordpress blogs. Can anyone shed some light on this for me? Thanks.

How is anyone that doesn't work for Google supposed to tell you what Google does and doesn't value in their results? It's not really a question I can personally answer.

This is a technical question for vBulletin, NOT a question for Google about their algorithm, but OK...it seems maybe I should rephrase my question. I guess that one word 'values' was a bad choice on my part.

Does anyone have any experience with vBulletin CMS articles getting displayed in Google News? Google has particular requirements for this, which is why I'm asking.

I see. Note I wasn't trying to be rude or anything.

Some have complained about the lack of SEO in the CMS. Although, I haven't had any issues with it.

Although, URL-changes are mostly dependent on changes you as the administrator implement.
