Yep, but only 3.x forum to 4.x suite.

There are bulk discounts that will come into play if you do that. It would be based on the number of licenses you have and the number purchased.

Is there a guide to this?

I would want to have 9 existing accounts for example and only save X per forum on the 15 new ones, when if I had 10 accounts I'd save Y per new forum for the 15 new ones.

Or would it automatically take all of that into account?

Actually, if it does give you the best price each time, perhaps I could order 1 forum at a time and it keep giving me the discount based on the existing number? Or does it give a bit more if you bulk buy?

The discount is based on the number of licenses on a customer account. The more licenses, the bigger the discount. It doesn't matter how many you buy at a time. You can see the bulk prices on the order page.
