Hi there, is it possible to support single-sign-on (SSO) in some way. I have an existing site built in a mixture of Spring/MySQL/Hibernate and we are looking to integrate a forum into the solution. Is it possible to link vBulletin's forums to our existing user framework in some manner? Another solution we are happy with would be to replicate from our MySQL DB to the vbulletin DB and then have the registration page re-direct to the parent site. IS something like this possible?

Hi Support team,
We're researching a solution for client that have these features:
- Integrate a forums into a mobile app by WebView (support iOS/Android platform)
- Forum can support SSO that we use send the login information to forums, and then we will receive a security token to authentication (same as Facebook, Twitter integration with mobile app)
Could we do this with vBulletin forums Cloud version? or vBulletin have any way to authenticate with a mobile app account?
Thanks & Regards,
Minh

You can't use any kind of SSO with vBCloud.
The second question really doesn't make much sense to me- you can login via the vBulletin Mobile Suite, you could in theory use the API to login (authenticate) via a custom mobile app but in order to do that the vBulletin database must contain the username, unique email adddress, and password (hashed/encrypted) of all users.Comment
