Hi, just wondering, if I get the cloud thing can I use version 4 of vBulletin or only 5?

It depends on your needs and what you want, a fair number of customers are enjoying vBulletin 5, and with each version its getting better.

One of the good things about cloud is you can try it and if after a few weeks you feel it is not meeting your needs you can cancel the account and only be out $19.95. (Assuming you initially choose to pay monthly.)

Currently we have vBulletin 4 but we want to purchase your vBulletin Cloud service. What concerns me is that we would like to move the vBulletin 4 database into the cloud service so our customers experience a seamless transition.

What are my options?

We'll make an announcement when we start doing migrations. You would move your database to Cloud and we would upgrade it to the cloud server once available. The end result would be a vBulletin 5 forum.

We would like to perform a migration to the cloud service as soon as possible. Can you provide me with some kind of ball park time frame for the migration capability?

Are we talking about days away, weeks away, months away, or longer?

I want to stay with using vBulletin but I am getting pressuring to get a cloud service forum up and running asap.

We do not have a more specific answer on when we will be able to import forums into vBCloud, sorry.
