I might be being a little stupid here, but the fact that you cannot get full admin access means I cannot tweak the style of the theme. How am I supposed to adapt the VBulletin Cloud Package to brand it as my own forum?

vBulletin Cloud is for entry-level users (the EZBoard/Yuku crowd) who don't want that level of control or customization. They just want to click a button and have "instant community [tm]".

Firstly you do get access to the stylevars.

Secondly, you'd be surprised how much you can customise.

Both these were done with the exact same tools any customer gets.

My tip is that you can add stuff that you would normally add to css_additional.css, into a notice, in <style type="text/css"> tags.
Lynne went further and included an external css stylesheet. This only works if you have access to a website you can upload stuff to.

These would work for a new board, and some projects I've done in the past... Very simple, and easy maintenance for a new forum user...

Precisely...they are designed to be simple, quick and hassle free, which they are, but the level to which they can be customised is still quite surprising.

No hassles about upgrades or security....it's a great product.
If only there'd been something like that available when I started with forums back in 2002 and didn't have a clue what to do!
