A long time absent 3.8.1 owner is back to life

    Hello,

Being absent from my two veteran vB sites, I have missed a several invitations to upgrade to vB4.

Now that my licenses had expired, I have two questions:

    1. Is there still a way to get an upgrade rate on migration to full vB5 Connect + Mobile Suite?

    2. Can my 3.8.1 sites be upgraded to the vB4x forum version?

    Thank you,
    Shlomo
    Cheers to all,

I'd read some of the posts regarding migrating to 5.x before you do so.

Thank you Cliff. I've done that but couldn't find any explicit reference to expired licenses.

Do you have a specific reference in mind?

Also, who can restore my old forum status (I believe it was a Developer status).
      Cheers to all,

I think he meant not to jump blindly to vB5.
You can upgrade to vB4 anytime provided you buy a vB5 licence.

vB5 is unequivocally the best forum software, but not yet...

Although your licenses are "expired" they are "owned" vBulletin 3.x licenses and as such are eligible for the upgrade pricing to VB5. With the VB5 license you can then run VB 4.x if you choose, or even newer versions of VB 3.x if you prefer.
