Understanding different software...

I am looking into which to buy. I want the forum & will edit it from my computer. I want it to be nicely viewed by mobile devices. I personally use an iPhone, but as I said I will not admin the forum from my phone.

Can I get some advice on this please?

You need the vBulletin forum software. If you want to access your vBulletin site from your mobile device, assuming you have a smartphone that has a browser, you can.

If you want an application to do that with, you can pay for the vBulletin Mobile suite. The normal vbulletin suite/forum does not require the app to be viewed on a mobile device.
