Is CMS and Notices and Other Items Preserved in Vbulletin 5.0?

Are the Notices, FAQ, CMS, Advertising slots, Sidebars, Menu Bar, Permission Groups, Attachments, and anything else I can't think of preserved with vBulletin 5.0?
I particularly want the FAQ additions to be preserved and the CMS and Notices. And by the way what's up with IE 10, doing havoc to my editing box on vBulletin 4.0, it hardly works at all.

CMS article data is preserved but not accessible, it will be made available in a later release.

Notices should simply carry over, this system hasn't really changed all that much.

Attachments should carry over ok though there are one or two bugs with this at present on some setups.

Permissions and usergroups should all be maintained.

    FAQ is not.

    Menu and navbar will not.

    Sidebar will not.

As for IE10 - there are issues in the current vB4 editor in IE10 with WYSIWYG mode. This is being worked on.
Workaround is for affected users to switch to source mode.

vB5 still doesn't support paid subscriptions AFAIK, so they probably won't be carried over just yet. Best to check though.

You can also upgrade your CKEditor to fix IE10 issues.

Paid subscriptions are returning soon but as far as I know nothing will be carried over from vB4.

Users of vB4 cannot simply upgrade CKEditor - it is tightly integrated with vBulletin and not something an end user can update.
Work is being carried out to fix the IE10 issues.

I really wish there was a way we could upgrade it without having to be at the mercy of the development staff to update it for customers. There seems to be a lot more pressing issues at the moment..

Never going to be possible.....the editor isn't just dropped into the software, it needs adaptations and changes. Then it needs full testing and QA.

So I will lose all the pages I added to FAQ as well as all my menu bar items and drop down boxes I created?

Correct. The FAQ has been replaced with a "Help" system, but it cannot convert from FAQ entries to Help entries automatically. Drop down menus weren't a default option for VB4 Navbar tabs so they also would be lost. Basic Navtabs added via the Navigation Manager should convert up but likely will be to broken/missing pages since no mods will convert up automatically.

Just checking in to see. Has vBulletin 5.0 found a way to convert my many FAQ pages?

No to the FAQ page(s). Notices were always, AFAIK converted.

My notices are very specific and plenty. I wonder maybe notices are not convertible.

Notices should import as they are.
