vB4 Chat

G'day I am running a forum using phpbb3 and find it to hard to add mods ect.
I am looking to come over here and use vB4.
My question is what chats are out there? is there a chat that just mods/admin can chat on and one that regular members can chat on?
Thanks. Also to add a Mod to vB4 is there a mile of code that needs to be done first? I am looking for ease and not to be relying on other people to add stuff to the site.

vB4 does not have any chat function so only a mod can do that.

Usually it's easy to add a mod.

there are 2 known chat options cometchat and arrowchat you can use one of those as facebook like chat in your website

There are hundreds of threads in the suggestion forums, in which a very large number of people request a vbulletin chat addon. But in many threads there also are many people who anti-vote this request, because they find no use in it for their own sites. And somehow that seems to mean to them that others should not have this either. I find that hard to understand.

Very true. Why have a chat system when the whole forum is for chatting? Pretty much defeats the purpose imo

And there would be thousands more "oh no my host doesn't want me on this server any more" threads if vb had built in chat.

Maybe its not important to you but we need it for our site. at list there should be a live communication between stuff ..
