    Why buy vBulletin 4.0?

I currently have 3.7 and it is doing fine. Why should I buy 4.0? What features does it have that version 3.7 does not have?

    Thanks!

    a future.

right now you are on a dead end. Whether vb4 does as well as the past, no one will know.
    Cheers!

There are countless threads regarding that question in this forum.
If you are fully satisfied with vB 3.7 there isn't a reason to change.
Why don't you just browse on vb.com and check everything out? All features available are inbuilt here.

You need to buy the version 4 license because version 3 has finished. However you can still keep your forum running if you buy the version 4 license.
        Hope that answers your question.

Nothing new will ever be done for 3.7/3.8. It is a dead series. It's as good as EOL.

vB4 is at least being developed, albeit at a woeful pace. That's where the future is.

Just stick with vB3, your better off than to jump into stagnant development. Also the main feature in vB4 than vB3 doesn't have BUGS!!!! lol.

So, no development at all is better than slow development? Odd rationale.

No development? But we're getting the mobile suite too... Skimlinks integration is also available... Looks like development to me...
