Adds VAT when going to pay with PayPal?

Hey there, there appears to be no VAT on this purchase until I select to go and pay with PayPal, why is this? It's a rather considerable chunk of money, an extra chunk which I simply can't afford right now.

I'm trying to purchase a vBulletin 4.0 Forum license.

VAT is added to all purchases coming from the UK which is required by UK law.

It would be nice then, if when I select the currency GBP this was highlighted.

VAT being added doesn't have anything to do with the currency, but rather the country you order from. Thus the full total, including VAT if necessary is calculated after you select your country. This happens before you choose the payment processor though.

Although generally people wishing to purchase in GBP will be from the UK.
