Yes, it is expensive as software goes, BUT, it is fantastic. I could never go back to anything else. There is a large community dedicated to supporting and providing enhancements to it, you can modify the code to your own liking, there is dedicated support, regular updates, and all for $30 a year (after buying the software).

As said above, you get what you pay for.
