The minimum upgrade to 4.1 is vBulletin 3.6 so you need to upgrade to that version first then upgrade to version 4.1. If you want you can log in at the members area and buy or upgrade a new license there. Upgrading means that you remain with one license only buy a new one and you will have two, the difference is only a few dollars so its really up to you. If you buy new one you can upgrade the old one with the 3x 3months upgrade thats 50 dollars so that your vBulletin 3 is the latest version in the 3.x. -
1. If you do not want access to two licenses upgrade the vBulletin 3 to vBulletin 4 it should cost 270 dollars for the Suite or 170 for the forum only, you will then have access to everything you need to upgrade from version 3.0.3 to version 4.1.
2. If you want to maintain the vBulletin 3 license that you have now then buy a new vBulletin 4 license prices are 285 dollars for Suite and 195 for forum only.
If you take choice 1 you can run vBulletin 3.x or 4.x because the license allows you to use older versions.
If you take choice 2 you can run vBulletin 3.0.3 and 4.1 because you will have two licenses. For 50 dollars you can upgrade 3.0.3 to version 3.7 so you can run the latest version of 3.7.
The cheapest option is choice 1, choice 2 is 65 dollars more expensive but for that money you will get two licenses.
Either way you can upgrade your existing board to version 4.1.Comment
