vBulletin 4.1 Plugins? & vB 4.1 Plugin Support + Backwards Compatibilities?
I am sure most, if not all, vBulletin-based forums and their respective owners rely on vB Plugins for features, functions, and/or necessities. And since vBulletin 4.1 is so different compared to previous versions of vBulletin, one of my major concerns is definitely regarding vB Plugins. Listed below are my vB 4.1 Plugin-related questions & concerns.
I have a lot of plans that - thanks to vB Plugins - I will be able to actually implement. BUT, as far as I know, the Plugins that I need for vB 4.1 are available for vBulletin 3.8.x. Can you help me; are there any of the following vB Plugins that will work for vBulletin 4.1?
The above are the vBulletin Plugins that I definitely need if I were to use vB 4.1 so please help and answer specifically in regards to the plugins listed above.
vBulletin 4.1 Christmas/Holiday Discount Pricing?
I have been a vBulletin customer for years now. I am very interested in upgrading to the complete vBulletin 4.1 Publishing Suite, containing BOTH the vB 4.1 forum software and vB 4.1 CMS.
So, what kind of Christmas/Holiday discount pricing is there? I am very poor so I hope something better than current pricing.

- Is vBulletin 4.1 backwards compatible with vBulletin 3.x Plugins? At least, is vBulletin 4.1 backwards compatible with vBulletin 3.6.x, 3.7.x, and/or 3.8.x Plugins?
- With relation to the question asked above, if there are any conflicts with vB Plugin backwards compatibility, and also in regards to the programming structure of vBulletin Plugins, are there any major changes to the programming structure(s) and/or functions of Plugins for vBulletin 4.1? (In other words, are Plugins for vB 4.1 totally different compared to past, or are there similarities etc?)
- Does vBulletin 4.1 have a lot of Plugins available?
- Will vBulletin's OFFICIAL development team ever begin to offer & support OFFICIAL plugins, especially for 4.1?
- Can vBulletin 4.1 CMS use Plugins? If so, are the Plugins shared between the Forum and the CMS and listed together?
- With regards to the question asked above, if vB 4.1 can have plugins, then is it possible that the Plugins between the forum and CMS could interact with each other and/or mess things up?

- Virtual Currency + Bank Plugin; where users would be able to gain forum virtual currency per post and a bank feature where users would be able to save/use/spend the virtual currency on things such as sticky threads, custom items input by admin, etc.
- Form to Post Plugin; where a form could be created on a site that would create a post in whatever designated forum within the form settings.
- Banned Members Log; just a simple plugin that shows banned users, banned date, etc.
- iTrader / Feedback Plugin; a plugin that allows users to submit feedback very similar to how eBay's feedback system looks where users input a negative/positive/neutral rating, the URL to thread, and a comment etc.
- Members Who Have Registered Today Plugin; a plugin that shows the number of and a list of the members who registered that day near the currently active users list.
- Members Who Have Visited Today Plugin; a plugin that shows the number of and a list of the members who have visited/logged in that day near the currently active users list.
- No Spam Plugin Plugin; a plugin that allows admin to set a more-defined layer of protection to prevent spam, such as setting a mathematical or any unique question with unique set answer required to complete correctly for user registration at user registration page/process.
- Report PM Plugin; a simple plugin that adds a report button and feature to PMs that allows users to report PMs just like the report post default vBulletin feature.
- Marketplace Listing Plugin; a plugin that would create a marketplace atmosphere where admin could set various settings for users for specific forums, such as users being able to list sale listings or auctions and have a starting bid and/or buy-it-now price. Also admin would be able to set forum-specific listing fees that would be integrated with PayPal set by admin. Also I think that users that do Buy It Now sales threads could set their forum user account to be linked to a PayPal account so that buyers can pay directly if set when making a thread. I know Digital Point Forums Marketplace and Webmaster-Talk's Marketplace use it as well as SitePoint Marketplace.
The above are the vBulletin Plugins that I definitely need if I were to use vB 4.1 so please help and answer specifically in regards to the plugins listed above.
