Moving from EZBoards - need to know what to expect

Hi! We're about to move 3 boards from EZBoards to VBulletin - two of the boards have about 7000 posts, spread out over 250 forums and almost as many categories. We're averaging only about 100 posts per day on each of the two boards, but we don't want to shut down completely. If we have VBulletins import our posts onto our new board, can they go back after we've changed the URLs for everything, and import the 200 or so posts that were uploaded while we were changing the URLs? I don't mind shutting down for 6 hours or so, but don't want to shut down for 2 whole days, which is how long we think it will take to change all our internal URLs, once we've moved.

Or do we get one move, and one move alone?

What can get moved over? Just the posts? The users' names? Their post counts? We've got over 2800 registered users between the 3 boards - will they have to reregister for each board, or can we make one database for all the users - so once they're signed up as a user on one board, they're a user on all the boards? Is there at least a hack for this?

Is there any way to "guess" before the import is finished what the EZBoard urls will convert to? Is there a formula, so we can start changing the links now?

And what, overall, should we expect from the import process?

Currently because there is no accessible user database for EZBoard, the importer only gets the posts themselves.

You can request as many imports as you need.

Freddie (who is the person who would be doing the import) will be able to give you more specifics.

      Sig files?

      the posts themselves
So we don't get the sig files? Or the post name and date? or are those considered part of the posts themselves?
