I was wondering if it is possible to have folders of forums.

Persay you want to have the normal gerral, support, request, and so on. But what if you want to have more forums that are there so you have the other catagory. in that catagory you do not want to have the individual fourms show up, only the catagory. Is this possible?


Also what if you wanted to have a nother catagor with in a catagory. Is THIS possible?

One last thing...
If i install hacks on my forums i heard you cannot upgrade to the next virsion... is this true?

i dont have a copy of vB in any way shape or form yet.
I am wondering theese questions to decide weather this program is right for my needs

You can have categories inside categories.
If you upgrade you lose all hacks you install and you must re-apply them.

cab you have a forum that every one can have access to but is not visable from the main site---Persay for hosted forums

Yes, you can set the display order to 0 and by that the forum won't be shown. It's still accessible by an explicit link (forumdisplay.php?s=&forumid=X).
