    1) vBAdvanced is made by a third-party. It is not our product.

    2) The vBulletin CMS is a content management system whereas vBAdvanced is more geared towards building custom portals with different widgets. vBulletin CMS has the most common widgets available built-in and there are more at www.vbulletin.org. I've heard that one of our customers has over 3,000 articles in the vBulletin CMS that they hope to bring live soon. I don't see vBAdvanced being about to handle that.

You can customize the layout using drag and drop in the Admin CP. You can integrate Photopost if they have provided widgets for your use.

And let me just add, vBadvanced does things the vBCMS doesn't and vBCMS does things that vBadvanced doesn't.
The two are different products that share a few common functions.
I have more options using vBadvanced within my forum.

How do you use them both?
I was going to use CMPS with Logician's templates.

If I can use them both... I would love to.

You need to download cmps from www.vbadvanced.com and read the install instruction...

Currently vbCMS can not replace vbadvanced CMPS. vba is much more versatile as a portal, while vbCMS is an article system with widgets. I would be needing both until vbCMS can act as a portal system. I cant imagine that vbCMS will not grow into a CMPS at some point.

                            Of course!

And it's pretty much a bloody requirement. Each compliments the missing functionality of the other, and until the forum code is refactored enough to use CMS widgets, I think it's absolutely necessary to use both.

                              My ans: Yes, you can
My quest: Why would you do that? as you know you can use 1 page at a time, if you want to switch things then you can just do a install and uninstall, its not that hard.
