Just the vBulletin 4 forum, not the CMS or blog.

Technically, it's not Jelsoft anymore. It's vBulletin Solutions now, owned by Internet Brands.

The Blog and CMS are not sold as separate products, so you need the suite to have the ability to activate either or.

Ugh... it's not even worth it at this point. $285 is a lot of money, and considering I just paid around 180 for 3.8.x, I am thoroughly disappointed.

when did you purchase 3.8.x ? if it was before 4.0.0 went "gold" and you only want the forums you can upgrade for free. if you want the suite then yes you have to pay full price. if i were you i would email billing and see if they would cut you a break. i doubt they would now but whats the worst that happens? they say no.

How does one go about getting the free upgrade? I've owned 3.8 since June 2008, renewed it in June 2009. But when I select the upgrade option in the purchase section of the site, it wants to charge me $175 - a discounted price yes, but not free.

You may access the vBulletin 4 scripts for free if you have/had an active license when vBulletin 4 was released. If your license has expired your only option is to upgrade.

The new formulas are crap, I don't care about blogs but I want a bug tracker. What am I supposed to buy? The vB 3.7 formulas were much better.

Also there is a perfectly fine and free CMPS vBadvanced, the only new feature worth upgrading is the integrated SEO which is much better than the (not free) vBSEO.
