I too want to see sites that do not look like the default skin (not just changing colors and swapping out the header logo).Comment

When do you think that will happen? And is there a way I can order someone to skin my site? Are there any websites that offer agents for work who would do it? Any advice is welcomed.Comment

Do not know. Product was launched too early and now nobody knows when some ideas will be finished/debugged/fixed. Constantly changing stylevars destroy any skin other than ugly default every beta release.Comment

Have no idea. Heard about designers abandoning developments of vB skins because of stylevar issues. Paid skins are great. I have membership in rockettheme for example (it is not vb skinning club :-( ) Some custom free skins you can find on vbulletin.org.Comment

If you're talking about the preview, then if I'm not mistaken, that is a default setting: [stylevars: vbcms_article_preview_image_border]. You just don't notice it in the default skin against the white page background. If you mean the white-in-black frame Saqibm has around the larger images in the full-view articles, then that's something added using an image editor (photoshop?) prior to upload, by the looks of things.Comment
