    Mac OS X support?

    Hi there,

We're in the pipeline of getting a new forum for one of our Mac OS X Server boxes and I was thinking vBulletin. The server has php and mysql installed. Are there any known issues with installing and running vBulletin on X? Does it work at all?

Thanks for any help on this subject.

There are no problems that I know of, but I'm not certain whether it will work or not. If vBulletin Lite works (free download), then vB will almost definitely work so that's one way to get it tested.

Though I did not exhaustively test it, I installed 2.0.3 on OS X without any issues at all.

Make sure PHP and mySQL and are fully functional before you start and you should have no problems.

I would still install vB Lite first before you purchase however - just to make sure you don't have other environmental issues surrounding mail or whatnot.
