I don't really care which way, as I can see you have an option to have whatever content you want in the root (xxxx.com) then from there users can navigate to whereever they want.

I used to have that myself where users would see my main html page with any info/advertisement etc. then it had image/logo with hot spots link to where they wanna go

If you don't, then just make it redirect them straight to the forum or CMS. OR

I also installed vB4 in root for short time to see how it feels, and looked fine too.. though I didn't like so many files in the root, makes it kind of hard to see anything that shouldn't be there (like intruders)

So, to me it really makes no difference, but I understand the interest .
To be or not to be... Where the hell is the question????
My psychiatrist told me I was crazy and I said I want a second opinion. He said okay, you're ugly too

I think it has to be an option that any vbulletin owner can specify whatever path structure you want for forums, cms, blogs, albums, etc, when configuring.

            Vbulletin,

I have two paid licenses for 4.x and need this functionality. Could I please get an official response to this?

Isn't this fixed in 4.0.1 already?

Unless I missed something, if it requires a mod from vb.org, it is not considered fixed.

                    Nothing about a mod.

                      We'll see.
It was also claimed to have been fixed in a previous version but parts were still broke.
If view all articles and html editor work, then they did it.
If not, it still ain't fixed.
                      I wonder when we'll see 4.03, March 2010?
