Upgrade price on-line shows as $205 not $190

I'm trying to make a purchase of the 4.0 suite. I have an owned license (since the 2.x days) that expired in June 2009. My understanding is that the upgrade 4.0 suite price for inactive licenses is $190 for a few more hours.

However, when I go to checkout the discounted price is listed at $205. What do I need to do to get the promoted $190 price before time expires.

Yes... the $205 price doesn't seem right at all since it's not one of the three advertised rates: $120 (active), $190 (inactive 0-12 months), $210 (12+ months). If anyone can assist with getting the proper $190 price before the current sale ends today I'd most appreciate it. It's still several hours before midnight so the $190 should still be accepted.

I suggest you open a support ticket and have it addressed there directly. This way, there's direct documentation on the internal ticket system to get you the proper pricing.

Fill out a support ticket. That doesn't seem right.

Is the price still $190 for inactive licenses 12 months or less? I haven't seen this part announced yet.

Done. Thanks for the reply. Hopefully, I'll still receive the $190 price since there appears to be a glitch somewhere in the system.

I had the exact same problem as you described. And as Steve suggested, it can be worked out tonight through a private support ticket. When you open your support ticket in a web browser, just keep refreshing it every few minutes until you see the answer from VB Support.

Not sound advice. since the pricing will be slightly increased after midnight.

same here... I decided to give in (terrible to feel like I am being screwed as they sort of "gotcha") and now this. It's like everything they do lately, turns to crap. Hopefully v4 will be worth it in the end... sigh...

It's been nearly three hours and still no reply. Hopefully, they'll honor their $190 price as I had every intention of purchasing this evening but did not due to the $205 glitch in their system.

I was experiencing the same thing since 11:30pm last night....then finally the $190 price showed up. (where are the smilies?). I know this isn't the place for this comment but.....I hope the final version looks/feels much better than what I'm looking at right now....kind of depressing. Looks like FREEWARE
