    Does Vbulletin have Chat Room?

Yes as what cellarius says here. You might want to head over to vB.org to get one.

Thanks a lot for the quick replies!

I need a community like this
        1) hopepage listing the newest posts, and newest blogs, and if possible, newest members;
        2) forum
        3) blog
        4) chat room.

Please kindly advise me if Vb product provides the above three? Which one?

About chat room addon, is it free on vb.org? And is it easy to install? Because I am not familiar with the web design and codes AT ALL.

        Thank you again!

No, it doesn't. But it should as vBulletin is now promoted as a the most powerful community software. If vBulletin really wants to make a difference and evolve into a real community platform, it should support an integrated 1-on-1 chat like Facebook does.

I just checked the demo. It is nice. But it is a pop-up window. I prefer the chat room integrated into the page, like IP.Board did.

By the way, do you know if there is any video or voice chat room like that. If easy to install, I will try to buy one. Thanks!

Flashchat from Tufat can handle a very limited number of users.
AFAIK vb.org does not offer real chat room solutions, but does have some nice chat box solutions for vbulletin 3.8.
3rd party add-ons are available and often cost a lot of money. (prices range between 0 and $7.500) See here: for A comparison of Dedicated Chat Solutions

Well I am going for the paid version of chat, this integrates into vbulletin according to their sales patter, and its a very nice piece of kit and as they provide hosting for just $15 a month for it, there is no server load on your site.

                            I just use www.mibbit.com. It's free.

Basically, it just links to an IRC server. So you create your channel somewhere and set it up. Point mibbit to it and you're good to go. I integrated it into my site, check out www.darkhandofvalor.com and click the Chat link in the nav bar.

Just get pjirc.com or mibbit.com and point it to irc.vbirc.com
you can chat in #chat or create your own room

there are mods on vborg that make it integrate with vbulletin.
