I didn't say that. You can continue using your license under the terms is was purchased under while it was active. You'll find this agreement in your forums directory. The actual terms haven't changed. You couldn't upgrade to new versions on expired licenses before either.

Or you can upgrade to the vBulletin 4.0 license under the terms in the announcement forum from tonight. Or you can find it in your Admin CP on the home page under News.

Enough of the double talk. Are you saying this license is good for nothing beyond 3.8.2 now? That's going to make a lot of people really angry, since we weren't given fair warning.

If it is expired than you can run 3.8.2 indefinitely but you won't be able to upgrade it. To receive upgrades you would need to purchase one of the upgrade licenses currently available.

What has been said makes sense? How are you not understanding this.

You can stick with your current license, but you won't be able to get any UPDATES once your support (active status) expires. You can run 3.8.X for as long as you live, under the license you currently have. It does not mean they are obligated to support you in doing so, especially after 3.8 goes EOL.
            To be updated...

The forum is $195.00 for a new license and $175 to upgrade. The upgrade is not available to current owners yet but will be in the next couple of days. The forum upgrade is not on sale or discounted at this time like the Suite upgrade is.

So what you're telling us is that you're randomly screwing everyone here who just happened not to be paid up?

No we're not. Please read the announcement here:

That is your offer. It is the price active license customers are paying plus the renewal fee. And yes, that is the best offer you'll get if you have an inactive license.

What is an "Update License" Wayne ?

That is the latest version correct ?

What are you guys going to do for forum owners who "so called own" many licenses Wayne ?

Let's say someone has a bunch of expired "owned licenses".

This means to keep the latest vB version on those domains, he is going to have to pay 195.00 dollars for the next version 4 for each forum, right ?

Yeah, that's what I thought. You're screwing everyone who didn't pay the support fee. You're just trying to say it nicely. Gee thanks.
So, how much is just the forum software for those who were not paid up now then? Only a real class act company like vBulletin would just up and screw what, about half of the licensed owners, or more? How many people got fncked on this? I'm sure you hosed a lot of people.

At this time the only thing I can do and afford to do is keep running my current vB version for the next few years or switch to an open source package.

How often does vBulletin just up and hose everyone like this without fair warning? Can I expect a few years? Or should I expect to be screwed regularly now? It must be hard to sleep for awhile after doing this kind of crap, eh?

Wait until version 5 comes out, I predict they will want 500 dollars for that package.

I predict vBulletin loses a lot of customers.
