You all have to be kidding !! PffffT....

    I spend $200.00 in fuel in 1 week !!

How many $5.00 Starbucks do you get in a month ??

If $130 is going to bankrupt you... move on to some free platform; better yet stop calling yourself a PROGRAMMER.

Let vB show us what they have and if you "like it".... buy it.

Truth is, $130 is CHEAP by today's software standards.

Indeed. Even buying something of this magnitude for $235 new, is not a bad deal.

            I don't see anyone *****ing about a $130 upgrade.

I have two owned licenses and I'm being quoted $250 to upgrade each when new licenses cost $235!!!!!!!

Jelsoft have spit directly into the faces of their customers and I will not stop until there is a public apology.

Joe I just read in another post somewhere here, where Wayne from vB said that apparently this 235/250 issue is an error they expect to correct tomorrow

and yes, it is customary to apologize when one makes an error.

Yes, multiple licenses would make it much more rough, I have to agree with that. But they are offering discounts for multiple licenses.

It would be nice if this pre-sale period was a bit longer than it is.

vBulletin is much more complex than most of the software I've ever bought in the $30 ballpark

Then I am very much looking forward to a public apology.

I'm still of the opinion that if you own multiple licenses, you should always budget for these types of events. General rule of upgrade budgeting is add 30% to your original purchase price. We're going to be under budget on this one because of the pre-sale.

The pre sales period should be into the time the software was actually available and working, it is ludicrous to request payment for something that is not available and has no proven track record and reviews from actual users to help you decide if you want or need the full suite

ENF Exactly what I'm saying !!

If you have 2 or more licenses it's going to bite ... "NATURALLY"

The rules are: ONE license per website.. and since you're more fortunate than the guy before you; well that means you will automatically have a higher business overhead.

?? can't afford it ?? Shut down the site or throw anyone here the keys...

I have MS Office on 4 computers.. yeah that's 4x the cost of ONE license. that's part of being in business.
