I already have a lifetime lisence...but need to renew...

If I renew now, will I have to repay when vb4 comes out? Or should I just wait until then? Money is an option to me and I want to save as much as possible. :P.

btw, this is the user 'M4g!k' - I've lost my password and can't recover it to email as I dont have the url anymore :P

You won't have to repay, but there will be discounts/incentives when vB4 comes out. It's honestly going to be better to have an active license when vB4 comes out

It just seems a bit crazy to spend money upgrading for another year, if in 1 month I'll have to pay to get vb4. Wouldn't it be 'cheaper' to just wait and upgrade to vb4?

I know the official pricing hasn't been announced yet - but I don't want to get gypped $60 (or whatever the renewal is) for 1/2 months of forum usage.

It probably won't effect you either way.

Most people are waiting anyways. It's hard to renew, when you don't know what is going on.

May I ask what you're basing that off?

Renew now. Because you need to have an active license to enjoy the benefits of vb 4.

              Have a read of this.

                  https://www.vbulletin.com/order/
I'm pretty sure that page hasn't changed in...many many moons. Can you copy paste what you think is relevant?

From what I've heard (rumors...dirty leaked images...poo poo!) when you upgrade to vb4, you get all vb4's future patches included in the price. So, it would be bloody foolish to spend $60 on a years sub, only to have to pay for vb4 in august.
